Ramiro Massa

President & CEO

Mr. Massa began his professional career at PricewaterhouseCoopers, after graduating as an accountant from the Universidad Catolica Argentina (UCA). Mr. Massa has worked as Controller at Minera Sud Argentina S.A., the Company’s operating subsidiary, and Minsud Resources Corp. for more than 10 years. Mr. Massa has been an instrumental part of each stage of Minsud’s development, including the going public transaction in 2011 and the subsequent development of the Company’s Chita Valley project. Mr. Massa also holds a degree in Business Administration from the UCA and a diploma in International Financial Reporting (IFRS) from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants of England (ACCA). Mr. Massa is also director of Minera Sud Argentina S.A.

 

Diego Bauret

Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Bauret has over twenty five years of experience in the natural resources business, with solid background on management of mining exploration and development projects on AIM and TSX listed companies. As General Manager of the local subsidiary of London based Patagonia Gold plc, Mr. Bauret has successfully led the company between 2006 and 2013 from exploration and resource definition through feasibility, permitting, construction and operation of gold and silver mines in Santa Cruz, Argentina. Thereon and as Institutional Relations Manager of Patagonia Gold S.A. Mr. Bauret managed and supervised the community relationship and sustainability programs, as well as institutional, media, human resources, legal, environmental and government relations departments until 2015. Previously Mr. Bauret has been financial analyst in Miguens Bemberg group since 1991 to 1997, Administration & Finance manager of Minera El Desquite S.A. since 1997 until the sale of their high grade Esquel gold deposit to Meridian Gold on 2002 and then joined Patagonia Gold S.A. as Administration & Finance manager in 2003. Mr. Bauret was also vicepresident of CAEM argentine mining chamber and Director on several mining companies.

 

Mario Alfaro Cortes

Exploration Vice President

Mr. Alfaro is a Professional Consultant Geologist with over fifty five years of experience in the mineral industry. Mr. Alfaro specializes in porphyry copper-gold and epithermal ore deposits, resources and ore reserves estimates, due diligence, project generation, property acquisition and joint ventures, evaluations, and qualifying technical reports.  Mr. Alfaro has been involved in development and implementation of exploration strategies and programs for projects situated in South and Central America, Europe and Asia. Mr. Alfaro also has experience working for major international mining companies as a consultant and as a Chief Geologist in South and Central America.  Mr. Alfaro is a Qualified Person in Resources and in Ore Reserves, Geology (Chile 0262). Mr. Alfaro is a lecturer and professor of metallogeny and explorations at the Universidad del Desarrollo (UDD) in Chile, and has provided workshops about porphyry and epithermal ore deposits in South and Central America, Mexico and South Africa.  Mr. Alfaro holds a degree in economic geology from the Universidad de Chile.

 

Michael Johnston

Chief Financial Officer & Corporate Secretary

Mr. Johnston is a graduate of Western University, and joined Forbes Andersen LLP, Chartered Professional Accountants in 2004 and became a partner in 2012. Mr. Johnston has over 12 years of experience with both private and public companies in various capacities, including that of Chief Financial Officer.
